Ok, I'm well aware that we are well into the New Year and my "Happy New Year" wishes are late, but we've had another blip in our lives with a second eye surgery for Wes a few days before the New Year. We're not sure why, but scar tissue apparently disrupted the retina attachment and they had to do the same procedure again with the same fun, face-down recovery....again. The Doctors say that nothing he did caused this second injury, but golf was involved with both onsets of the injury....coincidence? So far, Wes is healing well and we've got our finger's crossed that this surgery does the job! He's back to work, but still needs to take it easy for a while. Needless to say, Ava's blog has been neglected!
Ava's had so much fun with all the Holiday parties and get togethers- all except Santa. You'll see. Her newest thing is singing very softly the ABC song (A, B, E, E, E, E, E, B....) and I heard her sing the Happy Birthday song with Alex and Gabe at Irene's house this morning- she sounds just like her dad when he doesn't know the words..."Happy puppy to you..."
