Alex was the only baby who actually liked the sombrero....it's like he knew how cute he looked! Therefore, Alex win's the Cutest Baby In A Sombrero Contest....didn't know we had a contest? Well, neither did I until I saw this picture!

This was our attempt to say "Gracia's" to all who attended Ava's party....Ava just wanted to eat the sign.....So, GRACIAS to all who have been a part of Ava's first year of life! It's been so much fun so far!

Brrrrrr...Ava's first trip to Nebraska

Elivia & Ava at the library hanging out with the wild animals! We stayed with my friend Dawn in Omaha for a few days while visiting my parents in Nebraska. We learned so many new things....new books, new toys, new ways to nap in the car (Ava, not me), how to bathe a baby in 4 minutes or less.....Dawn'isms took on a whole new meaning on this visit!

Since we have no stairs and virtually every home in Nebraska has stairs, Ava mastered them in a matter of two tries! Ava was a pro, but not so much in her "skinny jeans". Although cute, some outfits aren't practical for climbing stairs...its sure starts young!
